In August 2000 Sue Charles and John Hartley came together to form EarthCry Australia. Their primary objective being to assist in raising the awareness of their peoples plight and of the desecration of our Mother Earth.

Within many communities throughout Australia the spiraling effect of continued poverty and oppression, is taking it's toll and has for many years been expressing itself in self harm drug/alcohol abuse and Family violence, many of our communities lack adequate services to address the continued and rising tide of hurt and frustration.
